The Adventures of Angry Eddie & the Japanese tourist...

...in Busan!

(Does that sound like the cheesy title of a horribly cliché comic book? hehe)

Been meaning to blog about this for a while but never got around to it (*cough* was too lazy). Back at the start of September, I took a trip to Busan with the bf. Busan is one of the southern cities in Korea and, as it's right on the coastline, it's known for its beaches and warm weather that's nicer than Seoul's.

It'd been a while since either of us had been (4 years for me, 20 years for him @__@), and it was really nice to just get out of Seoul and see and do something different.. Somewhat of an adventure, really!

Along the way, our adventure included:

Scoffing down traditional Busan iced noodles, "milmyeon", at a back alley restaurant that was harder to find than a needle in a haystack...

Having cupcakes in a girly cafe, where one collapsed into a haphazardly mess resembling something like that of Darth Vader... lol

Playing with traditional Korean toys, including a rolling-hoop-and-stick-thingy, the name of which I have no idea...

Admiring strange (and rather disturbing) art sculptures displayed in a public park...

Building sandcastles (no trip to a beach is complete without a sandcastle!!)...

And the devouring of lots of fresh seafood...

Hurray! ^__^

The trip officially came to an end with a glory pose by Angry Eddie, wielding his toothbrush outside Busan Station (as only an obnoxious "Korean-American" would do).

Fun times! Stay tuned for another adventure coming soon... ^__~
