"Post"! Huzzah!

Guess who got more mail (or "post", as the sender would say) just yesterday? Why, a very lucky girl by the name of Uncle Yenny. >:D hoho!

Thank you to Abi, my long lost British friend! (Ok maybe not "long lost" as such, but it's been a long time since I last saw her, since she left Korea and went back to the UK last year. XD)

Yesterday at work there was a brightly spotted package waiting for me, filled with all kinds of delicious edible goodies....

Feast your eyes on this! HaHA!!

What I love about Abi is that she always decorates and doodles on the packages and envelopes she sends. Makes them so pretty! XD

This time she filled the bag with packets of scrumptious candy and chocolate (some of which did not survive the journey back home to be photographed, but don't worry.. You can be assured that they're resting in peace in my stomach XD), plus two packets of funky instant dessert that I've never seen before... Aero chocolate dessert (which I'm guessing will come out like a kind of mousse? o__O) and some vanilla custard. (I had no idea vanilla custard could be so easy to make.. Where have I been all these years?!)

Along with all the candy and dessert sachets, she also stuffed in some very cute little trinkets.. For some reason, I have developed a very fond attachment to the little red mushroom with a button and string attached. I'm going to hang it up in my room, possibly next to the fairy lights from Twinno Lisha (when I eventually get off my ass and get around to hanging those up!)

Some sad news though.. I've been waiting and waiting for her timely return to Korea, but it seems that may not be happening for a while. :(

Well.. In this digital day and age, there are so many ways to keep in touch, and at least that gives an excuse to send and receive more snail mail for now. ^^
