Greetings from K-Land!

Hellooo, my sons! Greetings to you from Korea!

So it's been about 5 days since I got back, and truth be told I haven't really done a lot in that time.. ^^;; Wednesday was dedicated to shopping for groceries and home supplies, Thursday I can't even remember what I did o__O, Friday I caught up with some friends and visited my old workplace, and yesterday I spent the entire day bumming at home in my pjs. u__u;;

This time around, I'm staying near Korea University which is north-eastish in Seoul. Korea Uni has been around since 1905, so as you can imagine this area is quite old and traditional. There are lots of elderly people pottering about during the day time, the restaurants are small mom and pop stores, and apart from the traffic, probably the noisiest thing would be children playing in the alleyways or sellers wheeling small carts around and calling out their wares for sale.

To be honest, it feels a bit strange being here. Previously I lived in Hongdae, on the north-west side, which is renowned for its buzzing nightlife, swarms of young people, trendy cafes, restaurants, and artsy street performances. So it definitely feels odd being in a quiet, old area, where probably the most "happening" place is the traditional ginseng market down the road. XD However, every area has its own charms, so I'm sure a little more exploring and getting familiar with the neighbourhood will lead to some cool finds. :]

Pictures coming up soon! In the meantime, hope you guys are well and enjoying the new season. ^^
