Merry Christmas, sons!

Hey there kids! Yes, it's been super long since I last posted and I'm sorry for the total lack of updates, but let's be honest.. No one cares for excuses, and most people probably don't even read this blog anymore anyway!

For anyone who does happen to drop by though...

Merry Christmas, and happy holidays! \(^o^)/

I hope you're having a fantastic, festive season and at least doing something more exciting than myself. (Seriously, the highlight of my day has been downloading movies and cleaning up cat vomit off the floor. Most unfestive year EVER. Hurrah! =__= I'm putting it down to laziness, and not actually getting any Christmas vacation from work. Sadface.)

On that note.. Overdue update: I'm no longer an unemployed bum! ^.^ I finally found a job (though it's only part time), and have been teaching Engrish-ee to the masses for about four weeks now. For privacy reasons (and I'll explain why in a later blog post), I shall leave my workplace nameless.. But I can tell you that it has several branches across Seoul, one of which is located very close to my previous school. And the funny thing is, last year when I took the bus to work everyday and had to go past that particular center, I would always sigh and think to myself, "I wonder what it's like to work there?"

Well.... Now I know. It's freaking awesome. XD As it's a school for adults, I was pretty nervous about starting there since I've previously only worked with kids. You know how it is.. After doing the same thing for a very long time, the thought of something entirely new can make you rather apprehensive. But anyway, working there has been great so far, completely different to my prior nervous anticipations, and now it's hard to imagine being anywhere else. :3

In other news, I've also moved to the south side of Seoul, and since my work is here too, it looks like I've become... *dum dum dummmm..*

...one of those dreaded southsiders. (I've always lived on the north side, which isn't quite as affluent as most areas in the south. As you can guess, this leads to people from both areas thumbing their noses at each other. Me included. Muahaha.)

Anyway, my current area is nice and lively, and though things are more expensive here and I still prefer to hang out north of the river, I must admit I do like the wider, cleaner roads, the brighter, more sparkly lights, and all the ritzy cafes. *__* (If you squint hard enough when you're looking at price tags, then it's aaaalmost like being back in Hongdae. Lol.)

Aaaanyhoo! Rants and updates aside, I hope you've all been stuffing yourselves silly over this holiday season, and that the jolly fat man has paid you a visit this year with many, many lovely gifts!

Take care 'till next time, sons! :D
