Pick-me-up

I have a long lost "twin" called Fantastic Twinno Lisha. She is my Fantastic Twinno because even though we've only met once in our lives (try that for a complicated explanation! lol) we always seem to think the same, and she has the most impeccable timing whether sending messages, emails, or mail. It's almost uncanny!

Yesterday I hauled my ass into the office at my evening job after a very loooong, tiring, and frustrating day at the kiddy school, and pretty much a whole week of moping and self-pity over days gone by (see previous post -__-). Then, lo and behold!

There was a pretty blue box on the desk with my name on it... A birthday/Christmas gift from Lisha that, though a month late, had come at the best possible timing.

It was crammed full of the most awesome, funky stuff...

Retro disposable camera with vintage style frames already imprinted on the film.. Soft, fuzzy bed socks with individual toes to keep my feet warm in this freezing weather.. Fairy lights with paper lantern holders, can't wait to string these across my room.. Some pawpaw ointment, which will definitely help my dried out lips.. Funky silver earrings.. And red and purple hair dye with no harsh chemicals like ammonia or hydrogen peroxide. (Truth be told, I've been a little paranoid about my bald patches and hair falling out lately -- I'll get to this in another blog one day, lol -- so it's been a very long time since I've done anything with my hair. Fortunately since this dye is gentle, I'm looking forward to doing something fun with it! >:D)
